How to estimate approximate pellet consumption for a company?

An approximate consumption figure helps plan budget, storage and delivery cadence. Exact volume is always refined with site data and batch parameters.

Inputs you need

  • Planned heat demand (for example MWh per season or month)
  • Boiler efficiency / operating efficiency
  • Product calorific-value range
  • Preferred delivery and storage cadence

How to read calorific value

  • For sunflower-husk pellets the typical public range is 16–18 MJ/kg. For wood pellets — 16–19 MJ/kg.
  • Lower calorific value means higher mass consumption for the same heat need; higher means lower. Show results as a range, not a single number.

Other factors to include

  • Seasonal load variation
  • Storage losses and fines
  • Maintenance downtime and operating-mode changes
  • Packaging form (bulk, big-bag) and loading constraints

From estimate to offer

Once you have an approximate tonnage range, add delivery country, packaging and boiler information. We can then prepare a concrete B2B offer and, if needed, a trial delivery option.
